Hi /r/pathofexile! We hope your drops have been divine this league!
In this post we’ll share the results of a survey of /r/pathofexile users, as well as request feedback from everyone on what we are doing well and what we can do better.
Beginning with the latter, and specifically with an intro if you aren’t familiar with how the mod team operates: * Our goal as moderators of the subreddit is to make the subreddit a place that the community enjoys spending time in. Currently, we primarily effect change by removing posts/contents that flame or rile people up, remove posts that the community generally doesn’t want to see, and try to encourage folks to express their thoughts in a way that others will be able to engage with. * We don’t try to specifically encourage certain kinds of posts, although we do have some rules (ex: Rule 10 - required crafting steps) that require certain posts are written out in particular ways. * Our questions for you today: What do you think the subreddit’s strengths are, and what do you think is not so strong? Is there content you think there should be less of or more of? And if so, how would you like us to drive people towards that goal? A recent post started some discussion on this, and we’d like to follow up with more opportunities to hear from you all * We’ll make a follow up post in two weeks analyzing the feedback and summarizing what we plan to change, based on what you post here.
Next, the survey: We got an interesting modmail from reddit this week, the results of an automatic survey of 5000 core community members of /r/pathofexile, with ~200 responses. We didn’t request this, but Reddit seems to have automatically done so, so we might as well make the most of it. We felt the community might find the results a good conversation starter. Here’s the full mod mail that reddit’s admins sent us, after trimming a few introductory lines at the start:

Hello moderators!
We’re here to share your first monthly report for Community Satisfaction Surveys. Going forward, we hope to enhance your monthly reports with month-over-month (or quarter over quarter) comparisons, LLM-powered open-end summaries, and more, based on your feedback.
This past month, we sent 5656 surveys to your core community members and received 196 back, a response rate of 3.47%.
Overall Satisfaction
84.18% of respondents stated they are satisfied with r/pathofexile.
Here are some direct quotes from users that stated they are satisfied with r/pathofexile:
- “People are allowed to freely express their opinions.”
- “Sometimes toxic sometimes depressing. So many no lifers and crafters how can an old guy with a job compete or contribute ”
- “love the subreddit always has something fun going to chat about or sharing of content. Hell half the memes we talk about in game or over twitch are from reddit.”
And some quotes from users that were dissatisfied:
- “I think the mods are great. My problem is mostly with the content. I enjoy the memes jokes etc. but I feel like 95+% of the content is along the lines of "I gambled" or "I dropped a mirror" "I crafted this item" or "I found the right merc" (this league only). I see a lot of strategy and advice in the comments but not in a lot of posts. There are absolutely AMAZING posts every few days with great guides insights etc. but it's few and far between. I think it's generally a reddit problem - the majority of people who post have nothing worth saying (although i'm biased as a lurker)”
- “because I want to shit on GGG for every desision they make I dont like and Im prohibited to do so and the same people who delete my comments about my views on the game topics will be crying in other subs about how trump`s administration is dictatorship and how the 1st amendment is violated everyday pathetic”
- “The "Giveaway" posts that litter POE / POE2 sub-reddit's during certain times of the league shouldn't be allowed as most of them are people RMTing and trying to use the "giveaway" as a way to protect their accounts in-case of being flagged.”
Community Behavior
84.18% of respondents stated they agree that people generally behave appropriately in r/pathofexile.
- “Overall fandom seems welcoming friendly and helpful esp. compared other online fandoms which can be pretty toxic.” - this user agreed with the statement
- “Too much unmoderated hate against the game / the devs. (1-2 weeks after league release)” - this user disagreed with the statement
Appropriate Rules
83.67% of respondents stated they agree that r/pathofexile’s rules are appropriate for the community.
- “Well I had to go back and check the rules and was surprised to find some in there that I wasn't expecting to specially rule 2 around accusations and incitement.I was expecting (maybe it was this in the past?) for it to be a blanket no witch-hunting policy but was surprised when I found it was more nuanced (it's ok if there's evidence) as I do believe this to be better than a blanket no witch hunting/name and shaming as it is better for the community overall I believe.I also like that there is a rule (6) regarding misinformation and misleading content assuming this is policed correctly.” - this user agreed with the statement
- “like before the rules are too broad in some cases” - this user disagreed with the statement
Moderation Transparency
47.45% of respondents stated they agree that they understand how r/pathofexile’s moderators decide to approve or remove content.
- “They don't remove enough rage/hate” - this user agreed with the statement
- “I don't know the rules and I don't really care. If people write stupid stuff I just skip past it. I want to look at cool builds or news about the game. I'm just lurking not participating” - this user disagreed with the statement
Sense of Belonging
74.49% of respondents stated they feel that they belong in the r/pathofexile community.
- “I enjoy the game I enjoy talk about the game and learning new stuff or having a chuckle at Poe related memes/jokes. Not much else to it.” - this user agreed with the statement
- “Because I'm there to learn more about the game and enjoy it. Not to fucking gamble. I hate the gamble posts so much.” - this user disagreed with the statement
Trust in Moderators
69.39% of respondents stated they overall trust the moderators of r/pathofexile to make decisions that benefit the r/pathofexile community.
- “Reddit moderators have a long history of engaging in subversive behavior bordering on censorship. Therefore while I do trust the moderators of r/pathofexile based on their track record I am hesitant to choose an answer here stronger than the one I chose.” - this user agreed with the statement
- “It's Reddit. The mods will do what they want when they want. They don't give a damn about rules or fair” - this user disagreed with the statement
Moderator Interactions
7.7% of users stated they had directly interacted with a moderator of r/pathofexile. Of the users that had a direct interaction, 26.7 were satisfied with that interaction.
- “The person was VERY kind and explained things in a thorough and informative way. They basically treated me like an equal and I above all appreciate that. Thank you sir/ma'am I respect that greatly so it stands put in my mind since its not a common thing anymore on the internet” – user was satisfied with the direct interaction
- “Arbitrary power trips.” – user was dissatisfied with the direct interaction
Additional Feedback
- “As long as I can filter out whatever I really don't wish to see (some flairs with RES) I don't need any changes. Let's pray that reddit doesn't kill oldreddit and RES lolAlso thanks for the complete PoE1 and 2 separation! And your unappreciated work!”
- “I think overall the moderation of the subreddit has gotten better with the addition of some new moderators but the one interaction I had with a new moderator that was a very mild comment in response to their request was bad. ”
- “Konzentriert euch mehr darauf trashposts zu löschen anstatt sofort für den kleinsten disput Leute zu sperren”
- “Pinned threads / special way to take in players from PoE2 coming for a league launch to make them more comfy and clear where to come for help.”
- “Thanks for the hard work.”
The lowest score there is that less than half of people understand how mods decide to remove content. We’ve tried to clarify that higher up in this post, but there could be a whole essay written on this. Feel free to ask specific questions in the comments!
Lastly, if you’ve made it this far, you’re probably more interested in the state of the subreddit than most of the 1 million people subscribed. If you’d like to spend a bit of time (a few hours per week ideally, but we have no interaction minimums) making the subreddit better, please send us a modmail or write a reply to this post! We definitely need new folks to help us out, and the subreddit has grown a ton this year. For details on what mods do, check out any of our previous recruitment posts.

| These were specifically requested by 1_mana_left aka Conner Converse for his KBoC Manastacker that he and several other content creators are playing this league. We PoB’d many variations of mirror boots for the build, and triple synth with Onslaught won hands down. After that, we found that 12 All Attributes was the best final implicit. This was by far the most expensive and tedious craft of the league for me personally. Rule 10.
Explicits Process
Thanks for listening to my TED talk and one of the most unlucky crafts I’ve had to endure since Settlers league with the original dual-stack sword. I’m sure I missed some way to save myself some locks, but in the end, nothing can stop you from just being unlucky with slams. It was especially painful that this happened on Onslaught boots, which are already stupid expensive to make. [link] [comments] |

Gear's worth about 80 - 90 divines probably more. You can afk ultimatum, simulacrum and do t17 fortress. The ultimate second monitor gameplay.
I'll choose a random person within 24hrs of this post going live.
See you next league GG!
| | Recently i noticed no matter how much gold i put in town they empty it by end of day So i decided to test it, since i couldn't play today. at 14:34 i put enough gold for my whole kingsmarch to work for 10 hours (all mappers working, 1 ship and 1 disenchater), by 21:49 when i returned home and entered the game kingsmarch was out of gold, and i guess for a while cause it didn't finish maps. Did anyone notice it ? Does it have some kind of hidden multiplier if they are idling/working ? [link] [comments] |

| Placing Elegant Hubris with 143660 COINS (does not matter who, Caspiro is my pick for Supereme Ostentation) to Jewel slot below Solipsism lets you Anoint total of 4 Gemling Inquisitions and and 1 Gemling Inquisitions from travelling. That's a total of 400% increased spell damage, which converts to 800% Increased Attack damage with Kinetic Blast. The Anoints are dirt cheap (under 100c). Stranglegasp goes for 10-11divs if not corrupted, 3-4 if corrupted. With Kinetic Blast you can get 800% Increased Attack damage, with the oppoturnity cost of an amulet and 7 passive points. | I just remembered we got full passive tree respec now, I was expecting it to be not cheap, but goddamn 2.5m? Cool feature but pretty useless at that price. Also, I fail to understand why the "refund all" button only works with gold and not normal respecc points/regrets. [link] [comments] |

| | Module name: hobbes3 dust unique disenchant Now that we're about 2 weeks in, I feel pretty confident on the updated filter. FilterBlade has also updated their base filters too. The biggest addition is the new Rigwald's Hunt General's Brigandine unique that dust for over 100k! And it's the only General's Brigandine unique so it's guaranteed (I put it in A tier). The default FilterBlade has it under B+C unique so I'm sure most of us has it hidden. To update, just load your filter that already has the module and it will auto-update. Then you still need to sync the filter over to PoE. I don't think I missed any other new 3.27 uniques since the majority of them are boss drops, which my module doesn't cover. But if I did miss something, then I'll continue to update the module. Special thanks to Sirgog in the previous post that helped me understand the significance of dust/gold (instead of just dust/slot), which made me retier a lot of the uniques. From the previous post: I made this FilterBlade module late in 3.26, when most of us switched to very strict filters, but I think it's really useful for early league and SSF as well since you get extra information on good dust value uniques. And most of us know Kingsmarch early league can spit out some ridiculous gear (either recombination or shipping)! The module DOES NOT hide any uniques. It only moves them to separate tiers/colors. It's up to you to show/hide the tiers (hide, but don't disable). When FilterBlade updates their filter for the new uniques, then I will update the module as well. Good luck! Hi all.
I recorded the data on the Breach type chance and Wombgift drop rates over some maps this league.
TLDR on Type:
| Breach Type | Count | % Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Classic | 161 | 39.95% |
| Defend | 181 | 44.91% |
| Fortress | 61 | 15.14% |
| Total | 403 |
TLDR on Wombgift:
| Type | From Event | From Boxes | % From Events | % From Boxes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mysterious | 48 | 17 | 9.62% | 10.76% |
| Ancient | 61 | 30 | 12.22% | 18.99% |
| Lavish | 98 | 20 | 19.64% | 12.66% |
| Provisioning | 159 | 59 | 31.86% | 37.34% |
| Growing | 133 | 32 | 26.65% | 20.25% |
| Total | 499 | 158 | 99.99% | 100% |
I also traded 600 growing and 600 provisioning to 5-1 with the vendor:
| Type | 5-1 Growing | 5-1 Provisioning | Growing % | Provisioning % |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mysterious | 13 | 14 | 10.83% | 11.67% |
| Ancient | 14 | 18 | 11.67% | 15% |
| Lavish | 29 | 17 | 24.17% | 14.17% |
| Provisioning | 30 | 39 | 25% | 32.5% |
| Growing | 34 | 32 | 28.33% | 26.67% |
| Total | 120 | 120 |
NerdyJoe suggeested that it is likely that there is a single base chance for each Wombgift to drop, so the combined chances would look like this:
| Type | Across Everything | % Across Everything |
|---|---|---|
| Mysterious | 92 | 10.26% |
| Ancient | 123 | 13.71% |
| Lavish | 164 | 18.28% |
| Provisioning | 287 | 32% |
| Growing | 231 | 25.75% |
| Total | 897 |

Just got done with map and heard her say “For Wraiclast!”………for the hundredth time.
Every time I see and hear it, it’s just sad. Sure, it’s just another version of her and she thinks it’s just a dream, but it’s still her being blown up.
This is going to be a really fun and depressing league………

It gets incredibly tedious having to portal out and back because I can't loot what is on the screen.
Using a controller to navigate items on the ground is meaningless when loot gets beyond a certain point.
The controller points to the label of the item which is roughly 10k miles away from where the item is on the ground.
When I go to the tree to get currency, I really hope I remembered to log out and back in use KbM, or there are often items I cannot loot and they just get lost.
I started in everyone's favorite league (Kalandra) and it has been a problem since then, and likely long before then.
Please give us older gamers some help, our wrists and fingers don't work anymore from years of abuse.
| i was literally telling my friend i should start listing lavish wombgifts cuz i dont get anything from them [link] [comments] |
Visually new Breach looks great. I love the art, but as someone who used to play Breach all the time, I will probably be blocking the mechanic in the future if this design goes core as is.
I think the biggest issue is that it has been reworked into two completely different encounters, and while it's possible for players to like both, people won't want to invest into a mechanic they only like half of.
That said, as much as I personally dislike all the extra walls, visual clutter, and content culling Hives/Fortresses cause, some people do seem to like it. I understand that people have different opinions about what's fun, so in order to make everyone happy, please consider adding 3 optional points to the Genesis Tree that are specifically for blocking whichever encounters you don't like. If the Tree ends up not going core, just enable those options on the Atlas instead.
Also, am I the only one who misses having multiple Breaches per map? The chance of spawning extra bosses when opening clasped hands? The excitement of bosses possibly being doubled? The chance that they might drop full Breachtones? The ease of trading said Breachstones compared to wombgifts? Maybe it's just me.
I really hope we don't lose old Breach completely... I would really miss it.

Foreword: This is not a fast way to get currency. It is also not the best (or even a good) div/hour strategy. I like it because getting great jewels feels exciting, even though some may take days to sell. I always liked Vaal Temple farming, but I believe async trade has been the best thing to happen for selling Jewels. You may also need a bunch of merchant tabs.
Once again I've hit my league goals of hoarding multiple mirrors, so allow me to crash the market. In the prior league I made 10 mirrors being a hideout warrior and while that was lucrative, it was boring as hell, so I decided I wanted to something else.
So I farmed Vaal Temple for 2 weeks straight. I don't have any spreadsheets, but more than 50% of my async trade sales were with jewels. This is an example of a daily sale. You also get some useful uniques with good corruptions, and have the chance of lottery double corrupts for meta uniques.
Atlas: Generic quant/map effect Abyss & Strongboxes. The key passive is "Abyss Jewels found in Abyssal Troves or dropped by Stygian Spires in your Maps have 20% chance to be Corrupted and have 5 or 6 random Modifiers".
Maps: Vaal Temple. The Vaal vessels can drop single or double implicit corrupted items. You will also get tons of good essences and lvl 21 gems. Note that the 5-6 stat Abyss Jewels cannot have vaal implicits. I went with Abyss simply to get more chances at a slot-machine GG jewel (sold a 6 mod minion jewel for 88 div), but you can do anything else if you dislike abyss. The map boss can be very rippy (more so if it's possessed), so just skip if you can't handle it.
Scarabs: 1xHidden Compartments to have more chances of re-opening Vaal Vessels, 2x Abyss Scarab, rest is whatever you want.
Cost per map: 10-15c per vaal map, literal peanuts for scarabs.
You can always go on poe.ninja and see what stat combinations people run on their jewels. Here are some good generic stats and stat combinations that always sell well.
Vaal Implicits
S tier - These are good with just one or two main stats, and can make 3-4 stat jewels skyrocket in price. CB or Reservation efficiency, coupled with life/es and just ONE single other useful stat can sell for 50-150c+.
A tier - These are good with specific stat combinations (Fire pen with fire dot multi, for instance)
Prefixes
Roll ranges matter. 7% Inc. Life may be worth significantly more than 5% Inc. Life. Unless it's a multiple divines worth' of jewel, it's not worth to divine it to sell. Note that you can use harvest resist swap to reroll resistances back to forth, to get max value (Example: 2% max cold res > 1% max fire res > 1% max cold res > 2% max fire res).
S tier
A tier
Stat Combinations, Suffixes
S tier
A tier
This is where you either need game knowledge yourself, or you browse poe.ninja to see what kind of builds/stats meta builds run.
As an example, Righteous Fire builds want the following:
Summoner builds are usually on the top of the passive tree, so they usually have issues with getting enough Dexterity for their support gems. So any minion-oriented jewel with dex will sell for a whole lot more, as opposed to ones without.
Prefix - S tier
Prefix - A tier
Suffix - S++++ tier
Suffix - S tier
Suffix - A tier
Unlike the regular jewels, these come from the special abyss atlas node. Therefore they cannot have vaal implicits if they are 5-6 stats. Nevertheless a good 5 stat combination may sell for a couple of divines, and a 6 stat one can go anywhere from a dozen divines to multiple mirrors.
When looking at good combinations, in addition to the tier list above, look at the stats as a whole. If you see 3 element prefixes that makes sense (+10-15 cold to attacks, +1 to 40 to lightning attacks, +10-15 cold to bow attacks), even if they are not high tier rolls, that jewel can still fetch a nice price.
The best sellers are minion jewels. This is because most of them get a huge power increase from raw minion stats, and you can't really force craft a good 5-6 abyss jewel, they are drop only. I sold one for 88 divs (was gone in less than 30 minutes) and I believe I could have gotten 150+ if I waited a few days.
Note that even though I listed the "best" stats, an odd combination of stats can always sell eventually. You never know what weird stats a build might need, and your jewel could literally be the ONLY one on the market. If you are unsure, and get a random jewel that might be worth something, chuck it for a divine and see how long it sits there. You can use that experience going forward.
A: There are literally millions of stat combinations possible for jewels, and many people use them to "finish" their current iteration of their builds. They may be lacking exactly 14 dex and 15 fire res, together with 3% aura reservation efficiency. Add in CB immunity and there are currently literally 2 jewels on the entire market. Instead of moving their entire gear slots around, slotting a single jewel to get your build going is very strong.
In addition to helping people get their builds going, some niche stat combinations with max rolls may allow someone save 1 or 2 passive points. This may not sound a lot, but when you are min-maxing your character those points could be massive. Someone at this stage in the game will not hesitate to spend a dozen or so divines for a single jewel.
And finally GGG has (most likely) shadow nerfed the Genesis Tree (at least for jewel crafting), so good jewels are harder to come by!

Have the sub be mostly about analytical stuff like before. There used to be farming strat posts, item craft posts (which I didn't appreciate when I was newer), weird ass mechanics posts, build posts (which can be posted in r/PathOfExileBuilds ), now it's all meme, fluff & lucky drops. Memes I understand, some are funny as fuck, but lucky drops are just...
At least start league complains posts have some valid points, and are more interesting to read since it shows people's perception about a league.
The only thing I ever received is the Godslayer's Pride MTX. As far as the div card design, I got no contact on either my account inbox from the official website or by email.
Am I the one suppose to reach out to them to start the process?

I've just bought myself an awakened deadly ailments, burning damage, and unbound ailments for my ignite ID build and wondering what the best way to level these would be? Running labs over and over or just mapping and let it passively gain XP?
Edit: Thanks all!
| PoB: https://pobb.in/jZ0YQCdAy0De Written version for folks that prefer reading instead: Arakaali’s Fang is a very strong minion build. It’s a fantastic mapper, thanks to the Profane Bloom explosion from the Occultist Ascendency. It is block capped, and has around 10 million plus dot dps in league start scenario. Due to lack of time, I haven’t been able to play much of this league yet, and only have the basic starter gears for now. But even with only these basic gears, I can already do Maven Invitations like The Formed. The basic starter gears are these:
For the shield, I started with Aegis Aurora, then farmed some Alva missions and bought the Squire, which is a huge DPS increase for this build. Rest of my items at this point are random garbage rares, which I will be replacing soon. Same for the other Flasks, and same for the Grafts as well. As for the Gems:
The passive skill tree is nothing noteworthy at this point. There is only a random block chance jewel, and I haven’t even done uber lab for my last Ascendancy points. But with just this barebone setup, along with a cheap anoint like Testudo, I am already block capped. Then there is the Pantheon: I've set the minor Pantheon to Ryslatha to generate flask charges for Writhing Jar, and for the Major Pantheon, I’m using Lunaris for the movement speed during mapping. Minion Mechanic: A few tidbit about the spider minions:
Now, lets talk about leveling:
As this is just the starter version of this build, there are plenty of rooms for upgrade, which I'll tackle in the next video. That is all for now. [link] [comments] |
